The Cumnor Bears offer a standard of cricket to suit all abilities in a friendly, encouraging and welcoming team atmosphere.

Our 1st XI play in Cherwell League Division 1, in which they were runners up in 2025, and we have two other senior teams in other Cherwell League divisions.

Having successfully launched our women’s programme in 2025, this year we are entering additional softball and hardball competitions playing midweek and on Sunday afternoons.

We also run a fun Sunday afternoon side.

Training

Indoor nets start on Wednesday 18th February at Cothill House School (8-9.30pm). Outdoor nets start on April 15th and will continue every Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm.

Women’s indoor training will begin at Cothill on Sunday 24th February (6-7pm). The women’s squad outdoor training starts on April 16th and will be every Thursday at 6.45pm.

Seniors can also book outdoor nets on Monday evenings (see myClubhouse).
