Sam is a level 2 coach and works for Oxfordshire Cricket on their Girls Pathway programme alongside cricket and sports coaching in schools.

He came up through Cumnor’s youth programme since joining in 2014, claims to be an off spinner, and has played for its senior sides, including captaining the 2nd XI in its successful promotion quest in 2021.

He was appointed Cumnor’s Head of Youth Cricket in 2021, having been involved in the youth coaching programme from All Stars to the U19s at Cumnor over several years. He will himself lead the Dynamos programme and Cumnor’s girls programme.

Joe has played cricket at Cumnor CC since he was 9-years old, and is currently captain of our Sunday Adult Side.

Joe is a level 2 ECB qualified cricket coach and is part of our coaching team delivering winter nets and summer training.

Joe will be lead activator on the All Stars programme in 2022.

Duncan is a ECB accredited Level 2 performance coach who is currently in the final stages of completing his level 3 Advanced performance course.

He is also a level 3 qualified personal trainer, specifically focused in strength and conditioning for children and young adults. Duncan is currently studying a BSc in sports, fitness and coaching through the Open university.

Duncan has coached within Oxfordshire’s participation and performance programs for the past 6 years. He has been involved and led the Girls emerging performance program and has also advised on the boys under 15s county performance program and led on the boys under 15s county development program for the past 5 years.

Duncan has played 2s and 3s cricket for Cumnor, captained 3s in 2021 and has coached the senior teams. In 2022 Duncan will lead the coaching for the U15+ age groups.

Antony has been at Cumnor CC from age 11 and has come through the junior program to play for all senior teams over a 22 year spell at the club.

Antony is an ECB level 2 coach and has coached and lead the junior programs at the club and has lead various sports programs for primary aged children over an 12 year period. He is currently coaching with the Oxfordshire player pathway for 4 seasons.

Antony is currently a self employed level 3 personal trainer who focuses on injury recovery/prevention, strength and conditioning and general health and wellbeing for people of all ages and abilities.

Sam led Cumnor’s junior coaching programme until 2021, but in 2022 he was appointed Oxfordshire Cricket’s Foundation Pathway Manager.
